Rosemaund Farm Distillery sits in the heart of Herefordshire, a county shaped by orchards, agriculture and centuries of rural craft. It is here, among old apple trees and open farmland, that the Chase family is writing a quietly remarkable chapter in English whisky, crafting exceptional Single Malts that are unmistakably English.
The farm has been Chase family land since 2007. A year later, brothers James and Harry, together with their father William, founded Chase Distillery and helped spark the revival of the British vodka and gin category. Using produce grown directly on the farm, they built one of the most celebrated craft spirits businesses in the country.
Rosemaund has always been a place of ideas. Back in family hands, the distillery is alive with ambition once again, this time focused entirely on English Single Malt. Made using heritage Maris Otter barley, Rosemaund's whisky is distilled and matured on the farm, drawing quietly on its surroundings at every stage. The liquids have been expertly crafted by spirits industry heavyweight Tristan Stephenson, who has joined the Chase family as Master Blender, bringing exceptional skill and vision to every expression. The result is a spirit defined not just by cask or craft, but by the English countryside and the farms surroundings.
The name itself carries meaning. Rosemaund draws on deep English history - rooted in land, in farming, and in the enduring symbolism of the English rose.
In 2025, Rosemaund released its debut expression: a 10 Year Old English Whisky, a landmark bottling that announced the distillery's arrival with quiet confidence. May 2026 brings their second release, The Orchard Cut, a 10 Year Old Single Malt celebrating the reawakening of spring on the Herefordshire farm. Rosemaund Farm Whisky is English single malt as it should be: honest, considered, and unmistakably of its place.
