While Burn Stewart have been best known for their Black Bottle blended whisky, over the past few years the reputation of their malts has been growing. Bunnahabhain continues to thrive, famed for their unpeated expressions despite being based in Islay, Deanston’s new expressions have received great praise, and both Tobermory and Ledaig show that Mull is not to be dismissed as a whisky producing island.
