Bronagh is responsible for analysing intricate flavours and aromas and marrying them together, creating new and existing blends. She is also responsible for the management of stock, including cask profile and age profile, as well as laying down stock for future generations.
Having achieved a Food Science degree from Queen’s University Belfast, Bronagh started with Irish Distillers as a Graduate Distiller in 2017 on innovation projects in the Micro Distillery. Here, she completed the IBD General Certificate in Distilling. Before taking on the role of blender, Bronagh gained experience through her roles as Vatting Team Lead and Operations Supervisor, with a keen interest in production planning and developing talent.
